Forty-Five Verses: A Fun Friday Night

Over the years, this blog has become somewhat of my scrapbook for special events as well as daily happenings in the life of my family! Last night Luke went to his first Sadie Hawkins Dance with his sweet friend, Macy. We met up for pictures outside of the restuarant where they ate with friends....

After we left them to enjoy their dinner and dance, Jeff and I finally had a night out to dinner to celebrate his birthday and Valentine's Day! What a fun Friday night!

Day 66 Today's Verse...

"I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security." Jeremiah 33:6

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
