Psalm 27:4-5 says...  "I'm asking God for one thing,   only one thing;  to live with him in his house my whole life long.  I'll contemplate his beauty;  I'll study at this feet.  That's the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world,  the perfect get away, far from the buzz of traffic." Hmmm....just think on that one for a bit, the perfect getaway! Day 121 Today's verse... "Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you." I was forty-five and a half yesterday and working towards memorizing these forty-five verses...how about you? Hide the word in your heart, I promise that as you do, it will be cultivating a garden full of flowers  you will pick over and over at just the right moment.

My children gave me this wind chime many years ago for Mother's Day. I was looking at it today as I watered my plants on the deck. For the first time in a quite a while I zeroed in on the words "I AM." Right there in the center, surrounded by.. Lord of Lords..Savior..Alpha and Omega...the Way...Jesus and the top and Jesus at the bottom. The great I AM. "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14 Those were the words the Lord specifically told Moses to say to the children of Israel. He is the "I AM" of what they are in need of, what they are praying for and about, who they are looking for, how their situation will turn around." HE IS the I AM. Let that sink in. He is the sound of the wind blowing but not to blow you over, to strengthen you in the storm. He is the response to the wind when the world around you is reacting in fear and omission. He

"Now unto Him that is able  to do exceeding abundantly above  all that we ask or think,  according to the power that worketh in us."  Ephesians 3:20 Day 117 Today's Verse... We passed this little white church on our way back from the beach in March. We stumbled upon it, as we took back roads, looking for a way out of the spring break traffic on the interstate. You can't really tell from the picture but it was nestled in a wooded area, just around a curve. I was driving and said to Jeff "please get a picture for the blog!" I absolutely love little white churches. Simple yet beautiful structures with a steeple...Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place.  It was a highlight among the loooong way home, from a great trip. You know how that last day of vacay ...when you are just ready to get home and it seems you will never get there? Well, add a few hours to that and there you have spring break back from the beach. Life can be like this at times. You have prayed, the trials get harder, you keep praying, there's some progress, pray more, breakthrough, more prayer and then all of sudden God places a treasure right there in your path.
