Forty-Five Verses: Snowflakes

January 16, 2018 Snow
As a little girl I always loved cutting out snowflakes and especially loved that not one of them ever turned out alike. Snow is always so beautiful yet, even still, I have never seen the intricate detail of the snowflakes that we captured today on our deck. The picture of them on ice could in no way show their true beauty! Before long these sweet little snowflakes that were all different and piled up, covered the ground in white. Well, okay, maybe not completely covered the ground this time...lightly dusted...smile! It was another snow day here in Alabama, we waited all day for this "light dusting."

Makes me think about how God has made each of so differently, every intricate detail. Regardless of how we view ourselves or others view us, He tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  We are made in His image to be who He called us to be.  In school, in a job, at church you are surrounded by many "snowflakes" of people who make up any given season of life. As you venture through you begin to realize that there is a purpose for God putting you right where you are. You embrace the similarities and the differences. You are exposed to new experiences and share your heritage or history as well. You find hope and healing. Joy and Laughter. You fall into place like a snowflake on the ground and find yourself surrounded by others, you now call friends, on solid ground. Savor the season. God put you right where you are for His purposes.  Thankful for all the snowflakes in my life.....

Day 32/45 Today's verse...
"For to the snow He says, "Fall on the earth, and to the downpour and the rain, "Be strong."
Job 37:6

Blessings,
Suzanne
