31 Days of Pink: Some Milestones...

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
James 1:17

Luke 2015

It really is true..don't blink..they grow up so fast! We had several milestones last week but I never captured them on a post! Luke got braces (again), he had them partially a few years ago and this was phase two. I snapped this picture after his middle school dance yesterday...he said he had such a good time! In the afternoons, he usually gives me a report of his day, and then I quiz a little more. I had to explain to him that girls are just made for more details..haha! He quickly reminded me that guys don't do that. Ahhh, seventh grade.
Abby 2015

Abby got her driver's license on her birthday and has been on the road ever since! It has been a game changer around here! This picture is from last week when she went to the pumpkin patch with her discipleship group. She won't be able to drive her car to school until next year, so this is my last year of carpool with her..sniff, sniff. She's ready. And life has a way of preparing us for the next season. She has helped me so much already, picking up Luke and running to the grocery store. Ahhh, tenth grade.

With each school year, it seems there are always adjustments and this one is no different. However, the Lord is certainly the guide and the comfort and the provider of knowledge and wisdom to parent to the best of our ability. With each challenge and victory, it brings me closer to the One who knows me and knows what is best. For all of us. Nothing lacking. His word is alive and active. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8  More than anything my prayer is to raise these two to love  Lord their Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. (Matthew 22:37). Amen. Thank you, for these precious milestones, what a blessing.

Day#302 He gives good gifts
Blessings,
Suzanne
