It's almost Abby's sixteenth and we have started celebrating...what a great way to spend our little fall break! We only took twenty-five pictures to get this one group shot..haha.

And this was Abby's surprise when she walked in this afternoon from our outing ...thanks Paige! So cute and so special...love the skeleton crew!  Dinner was delish (Mongolian Beef and Rice that I found on pinterest while on our vacation here:)) I will be making that one soon! This felt kinda like our times at the lake where we are just in one place, eating and truly relaxing all weekend,! It was exactly what I needed most. Thank you Lord, for always meeting our needs, for providing every single detail and MORE. Amen.

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
