Get Your House in Order: Resume

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
Psalm 90:12

When I began on this path, to write a post each day, I did not realize each day God would give me a reminder. I write these posts for me, if nothing else to keep myself accountable to the Lord first and then to others. Always with scripture and usually with parts of my daily life. It's kind of a scrapbook that one day Abby and Luke will have to share with their family.  As I typed out this list, I am reminded of how important it is to review these more frequently and keep incorporating small changes. And to move on with life as the Lord would have me to live it...

Life more abundantly in Christ Jesus! He is my life. I only want what He wants and I can only find that out by knowing Him, reading and knowing what His word says and taking it to heart. With that there will always be misunderstanding, persecution and even suffering from those not where you are. We are all on individual paths but there is only one way to the Father. Jesus. And were misunderstanding, persecution and suffering not what he faced in his life on earth? Why would we think ours is to be otherwise. It's about Him. Not us.

Review and resume. Life is to be lived. Christ is to be glorified. And nothing (not one person, place or thing) can separate me from Him (Romans 8:38-39). I praise Him with every fiber of my being, for He holds the future in His hand. And the doors he opens, no man can shut. Amen. So be it.

You can start you own list, building on it each day. Small changes. Moving forward. Goals to always be growing and learning. Then remember to review and resume....God is with us!
