Get Your House in Order: Ski Bandits

Do we look like bandits or what? I finally had a full day of skiing with this crew! We are almost unrecognizable in the goggles..haha...cracks me up!



Goggles!!! Payday Ski Lift

Jeff and I stayed together most of the day and had a lunch date;)  
We all headed to Main Street tonight for dinner and a few souvenirs, t-shirts and such!
We have also laughed about our rental car..it has nicknames of the red egg or  the deathtrap and has a California tag on it, how funny!

This has been one of the best vacations...very active and relaxing at the same time!
 Everybody had a friend and we certainly had some good laughs!
We love Park City!!!

Update on Mom: She is doing really well! The doctor said the surgery went better than he expected.  I talked to her this morning and she said she should be able to go home tomorrow. 
I can't wait to see her for myself!  The Lord is healing her!

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
