If you were asked to describe your day, what would you include?

Would you tell of all your troubles or what God did through you?

I choose to tell you that He took a rainy day and brought plenty of sunshine through the people He placed in my path. Those I knew and those I didn't know.  

What a gift.

Get Your House in Order: Cancer Awareness & Giveaway

“He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully.” Luke 4:10 A few weeks ago I was reminded that September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month (Leukemia and Lymphoma) and encouraged me to use my blog to help raise awareness. I am always willing to give a voice to those fighting and winning against cancer. To me cancer never wins. I will never understand the painful process or the impact and loss it causes but I rest in knowing that...ONE DAY there will be no more cancer. Period. You know how sometimes you read a blog or a book about someone's life and you are just blown away with their story? Here's a little glimpse of the  "before and after" happenings in our dining room. It is still a work in progress but I am enjoying the transformation so far! All new trim, hard wood floors and paint color (Revere Pewter, Sherman Williams) were added during the renovation ...I added some chalk paint and mercury glass knobs to the buffet:) This is the first room you see when you walk in the house so I want it to be welcoming and bright! Dining Room Before 2015 This room was used by previous owners as the living room but I chose it for the dining room because it is a bigger space and I pray that there will be lots of "gatherings" in this area. That was one of my hopes when we moved that I would have a big enough space to host not only dinners, but to have bib...
