Surely I will remember Your wonders of old."

Hey friends, writing to you from the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA after the SEC championship game...Alabama vs. Georgia!! (more on that in a moment)   Jeff and I drove over yesterday afternoon and I think I was asleep in the car before we got twenty miles down the road. So a few short naps, and a little chatting then a little rest time at the hotel, a nice dinner, and back to bed, made for the right thing to do to be able to withstand.... a whole... day... of football fun (and much prayer for strength)!

My brother, Stephen and his wife, Erin joined us this morning and we had the best time catching up and getting ready up before we headed over to the World Congress Center for the Pre-game Meal..felt like old times! We had on our southern "dress up" attire, our handsome husbands and we were off...hmmm, I remember that used to be so important.... a cute dress and a date...now it is .."dress up"and  husbands... even better and more fun because it's a rarity in this season of life...smile!

We got there just before kick-off and our seats were great! I can honestly say, since I have been out of college at the University of Alabama, I don't think I have cheered or enjoyed a game more!!  Back then.. I remember..looking around to see who was there (and with who) and using a shaker when everyone was cheering but not so much because I was paying attention to the game.Haha

ROLL TIDE ROLL

After the big win ...more food and laughter with my favorites! The Hyatt was definitely lively with crimson and white but I chose to put on my black and white PJs and got right on into the bed!!

Very thankful for this blessed day, not just because my team won, and because I got to be with my favorite people or that I had time away, but thankful that I remember it is the LORD who gives and takes away (Job 1:21), the LORD is my strength and my song (Psalm 118:14) He will never leave me or forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:8). My Hope is in Him. Win or lose. He is with me. As with you.

Blessings,

Suzanne

P.S. I could not post from my iphone while at the hotel, therefore three posts are up tonight!
