Good evening! Just a short post to tell you all thank you for your emails, messages and calls and most important, your prayers. I have napped on and off today, still feeling a little weak but I know it will be worth it! We had dinner brought to us and Abby and Luke are back home tonight, already in the bed... so all is well! I was able to read and pray while awake to and didn't even turn on the TV. Very quiet here. Looking forward to one more day off to recover then "return" to life. Maybe at slower pace this week, though! I thank God for His ways, for a speedy recovery and for his Healing hand, as I dwell under his shadow for now!

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
