Exalted

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:10-11
As the sun set yesterday and the day came to a close, November twelvth, was the completion of my (and yours) twenty-one day meditation through Psalm 46. Do you see how beautiful that red sky is? Breathtaking. The clouds were dark but only because it was getting dark, not because of a storm. And to capture a picture where the sun was setting right behind the power lines?? What a great reminder of God's power...EXALTED...in comparison to our own manpower! There is simply nothing like it!Nothing like Him! My heart felt as if it was setting too, like the sun,in it's time. I am ready and able to close this chapter and begin a new one. I am still and I know that you are God. You, my Lord, are exalted among the nations and the earth. Exalted.

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
