When you have  as many animals as we do, it's truly never a dull moment. For the most part that is good, except when Boston decided to eat the "egg in a hole" that I made Jeff for breakfast right off the counter this morning. ..Or this one decides to sit on the computer and hold the keys down when I got ready to write...

Or while decluttering in the attic, Harley found one of Luke's old toys to play with and got it stuck on his head..he's a lil bit crazy anyway and this is just not a good look for him..lol!

We have many more at the zoo but it is way too many to list...Abby is the main zookeeper and we just follow her lead! Turtles, geckos, bearded dragon, rats, rabbit...yes...it feel's like Noah's Ark some days but it's home..smile! We love all God's creatures... (no snakes though ,that is where I draw the line). What about you...any pets you want to tell me about, I would love to see pictures!

On Your Mark

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 While walking on my everyday path and praying about the upcoming Race for the Cure, that I plan to RUN this year, my eyes fell right upon this cross. (picture to the left). I am sure if any of my neighbors were looking out their window it was a sight to see me staring at the ground and saying "only You, God" (and likely very loudly, due to the fact that I had my earbuds in and music blaring)! Two pieces of pine straw put perfectly together to form the cross on the road. What a sweet reminder of God's love! After I snapped a picture, I began to pick up the pace a bit and RUN. Baby steps. My faith in myself had been renewed that I was reminded to look to Jesus to help me run this race. The problem is I don't like to run. I never have, walking is just fine with me...smile! Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words). We had a brief moment of discussion and then he moved on. We don't normally get that morning time together...what a blessing! Have a wonderful Sunday!
