Get Your House in Order: Daisy

"But I have trusted in your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in your salvation."
Psalm 13:5

Miss Daisy

Meet our bunny, Daisy. I decided to let her have some "run around" time before the dogs got up on Thursday morning, the snow day. If you think our house sounds like a zoo, it is. Literally. With the cold weather, Daisy has been in the den and she greets me every morning by pounding on the cage until I bring her some carrots (I fall for it every time)! She has not always had the best manners, is quite difficult and she is just not warm and fuzzy in her personality:)

Abby begged for her five or so years ago and I finally gave in, after I had finished my last cancer surgery. So, she is part of the family, but she is a loner..haha! Anyway, I got her out this morning as well and put her in the chair with me while I read and drank way too much coffee. She seemed very content and slightly cuddly. Made me miss my yorkie, Katie. Sniff, sniff.

I laughed so hard one day when Abby said " I think Daisy wants to be sweet!" Maybe I needed a little lap bunny today. And I am gonna go a little further and say you can teach an old bunny new tricks!
I am so ready for spring! I am thinking I will get my easter bunnies out tomorrow...I have a cute one already who posed on the couch for me! She is back outside in her hutch tonight, happy as can be, I may let her join me for bible study again in the morning:)

So many times our needs are met by unlikely sources. Through difficult situations or difficult people we learn to love like Jesus. We learn to stretch our faith and set our boundaries. We learn to open up our hearts to a different view. And we trust the Lord with every fiber within our being. In and through Him we see that what once felt so difficult fades into hopeful surrender and loving sacrifice. For His Glory.

Day#67 Trust and Obey
Blessings,
Suzanne
