Come On In

"For I am the LORD your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
do not fear; I will help you."
Isaiah 41:3

The smallest room of the house is almost done. I do consider the foyer a room because it is where you welcome people in the front door and many times stand there visiting before moving to another room. I decided to use the same color I used at our previous house called wool skein from Sherman Williams. It looks a tad bit more yellow in these pictures but I am still going for the off white, soft tones. Neutral. Making the decision to paint the chair rail the same color makes me happy. Goes with my theme for this new year...unified. Seamless. In family, fellowship and finishing strong, with my relationship with Christ overflowing in each area. "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth." Psalm 62:7

And would you have a look at the before...a mess! I really had some doubts about the repair of the walls but am so pleased with the results! Nothing is beyond repair, do you hear that? No matter what it looks like. No matter what it feels like. The Lord has a plan. And as that plan unfolds, your obedience is the key that trumps the doubts, fear and worry. Your relationship with Christ is YOUR relationship with Him and He is there to help you every step of the repair process!  Just like these walls it took some time, patience, several different methods but the results were a smooth wall that is ready to decorated:) No one would know what "these walls" have been through to get here, can you relate? "Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain." Isaiah 40:4

Decorating is the fun part..new lighting and table, all in due time. For now, I will just sit with the process and share when it's complete. Decorating is never complete though, it's forever changing, thus our life in Christ.  Life is all about changes. Change in a way that you look more like Jesus, each and every day. Welcome him into your heart, IN THE FRONT DOOR. Holy Spirit you are welcome here. Amen.

Have a wonderful first week of January!
Blessings,
Suzanne
