We continued to celebrate Christmas today with the Bradley crew, Jeff's sister, Paige and her family from Charlotte, NC.  It's really never a dull moment with six kids running around. It's a little different now with two drivers which means the little cousins love getting carted around with the older ones! They had their first adventure this afternoon to the pet store (bet you can't guess who drove on that one..lol) before Christmas dinner.....

We had such a great time...more eating, giving, receiving and fun watching the kids do "dirty Santa" with gift cards. It's going to be a fun week! Christmas has been one to remember this year. I thank God for the peace and love and grace that comes with sharing our lives with those we love. Blessed and overflowing. I hope that you had a good day and holiday season. I am looking forward to all God has planned for 2018! To Him be the Glory.

8 Years Cancer Free: Living Life Intentionally and Boldly

Matthew 4:4 8 Years CANCER FREE  Cancer is brutal but CHRIST IS BOUNDLESS!  I remember this 26th day of January every year as a marker in my life! An encounter with the Lord, face to face and truly beginning to live a life surrendered to His plan, not mine. For the past year I have revisited some of the same quietness I experienced while going through the cancer process. Sitting at His feet. Leaning in closer. Close enough to hear Him whisper the next step. Sitting still, unable to move beyond the written word on the page speaking to me right where I was. And I needed the time with Him. "God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day." Psalm 46:5 Good morning! It has been a few days, yet I am still in Psalm 46, still on a twenty-one day journey. I laugh at how literal I really am. This is day eleven and I am so wanting to look and see how many posts I have written, I felt sure I would write one a day! My eyes landed on this verse yesterday "If the Lord delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm." Psalm 37:23 and was light a bolt of lightning! You see, I am learning, that when you walk by faith and not by sight, things just, quite frankly, don't make sense. Hmmm, great revelation at 5:15 am huh? So simple, but Lord, thank you for the reminder. Why do I get so caught up in the details that I miss the point, and maybe miss the lesson. HE is WITHIN me (and you) and I will not fall!
