31 Days of Pink: Pinktober and Giveaway Winner

Another October of Pink and though I had on navy and paisley today, I noticed my pink pin right beside my name tag. I put them on together as a team. A subtle yet vivid reminder to me when I caught a glimpse of it in the mirror today. Although I did laugh several times when it was upside down and I wondered if people thought I was making some kind of weird statement with the "upside down pink ribbon" haha. I love all the pink, it speaks loudly of God's healing and wholeness to me.

I started these "31 days of Pink" last year, you can read the first post here, This year will be a little different as I will focus more on survivorship and life after treatment for breast cancer.  So we will take a break from the "Get Your House in Order" series and hopefully, maybe just maybe, I may get some time to get a few projects done and show the progress in November. October is looking like it's gonna be a full month and I plan to make the most of it, what about you??

8 Years Cancer Free: Living Life Intentionally and Boldly

Matthew 4:4 8 Years CANCER FREE  Cancer is brutal but CHRIST IS BOUNDLESS!  I remember this 26th day of January every year as a marker in my life! An encounter with the Lord, face to face and truly beginning to live a life surrendered to His plan, not mine. For the past year I have revisited some of the same quietness I experienced while going through the cancer process. Sitting at His feet. Leaning in closer. Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
