Get Your House in Order: Take Action

"The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it."
Psalm 24:1

I am conciously making decisions this year to do things in my life differently. Procrastination and avoidance  are two struggles  that I have surrendered to the Lord this year. So today, I took action. I  tackled one thing that I had been putting off! That felt really good to sit down and plow through a pretty detailed project, not worrying about the end result. As I write this I am reminded that "We serve a God who wants to do more than you can ask or think." Psalm 89:17 Is there one thing you can do today as you get your house in order?

 I hope you have had a good day! We also have been "undecking the Moore halls" and will hopefully have a clean slate tomorrow. It sure was nice to enjoy the decorations for an extended time this year. That was different:) 
God grant me the serenity
 to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things I can 
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen

Matthew 4:4 8 Years CANCER FREE  Cancer is brutal but CHRIST IS BOUNDLESS!  I remember this 26th day of January every year as a marker in my life! An encounter with the Lord, face to face and truly beginning to live a life surrendered to His plan, not mine. For the past year I have revisited some of the same quietness I experienced while going through the cancer process. Sitting at His feet. Leaning in closer. Get Your House In Order: Sunday Scripture

"So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,  To see Your power and glory. Psalm 63:2 I read these two verses to Luke this morning, he was the first one up, besides me. It was a great opportunity to tell him how I read the  reference verses that go along with the verses each day. We looked up the verses and read them as well. He thought that was cool (his words).
